Tender description

Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council's existing Dog Fouling and Litter Enforcement contract expires on 15.10.2019.The Council is seeking a new contract for these services and is undertaking a soft market testing exercise during May 2019 to discuss all aspects of the future contract. The soft marketing testing will consist of a series of one-to-one meetings with the Council and interested organisations. The Council is interested in meeting suitably experienced and qualified contractors with a proven track record of delivering fixed penalty notices (FPN’s) to the public; that can provide uniformed officers and the necessary infrastructure to work in partnership with the Council to provide dog fouling and litter enforcement services throughout the Borough. If you wish to take part in the soft market testing exercise please can you express an interest via the Council's e-tendering portal www.the-chest.org.uk by no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday 7.4.2019. As part of the expression of interest process you will also be asked to complete a questionnaire.
