Provision of physical security guarding services

Tender description

The Contractor will be responsible for providing security guarding services for in-scope UK premises as follows: Static security service: The Contractor will supply staff to perform the duties of static security officers. The requirement is to provide static security officers, who may either be required to work in premises where no Authority security personnel are present or be required to supplement Authority security personnel. Key holding and emergency response service: The Contractor will supply staff to respond to intruder alarm activations and other emergency situations, on an ad hoc and as instructed basis. Emergency response service: Additional emergency resource service. Where unstaffed premises are subject to temporarily increased risk, the Authority may require mobile security patrols or Static Security Services to supplement electronic security systems. The Contractor will supply staff to respond to such requests, on an ad hoc and as instructed basis.
