Tender description
ELFT are seeking to enter into a 5 year partnership with an innovative partner who can offer significant added value to provide Hard FM Services throughout London and Luton and Bedfordshire. They must also be prepared to have effective collaboration with the Soft FM providers and the Estates and Facilities Management Teams. ELFT are seeking to enter into a 5 year partnership with an innovative partner who can offer significant added value to provide Hard FM Services throughout London and Luton and Bedfordshire. They must also be prepared to have effective collaboration with the Soft FM providers and the Estates and Facilities Management Teams. Due to existing contractual agreements this contract will commence with the following scope of sites and services: — Trust wide Help Desk, — all Hard FM Services for Bedfordshire and Luton, — plumbing, boilers/heating and air conditioning for our forensic sites at John Howard, Wolfson House and the Lodge. During this competitive dialogue process the entire scope and mechanism for scaled phasing will be shared with bidders. The Hard FM services included include, but are not limited to: plumbing, boilers/heating, air conditioning, flooring, painting and decorating, partitioning, custom made furniture, roofing and guttering, doors and door furniture, general maintenance, glazing, ironmongery, access control/electronic door repairs, CCTV/Access Control (fobs), fire alarms, fire alarm monitoring, lifts, locksmiths, lighting, power, emergency lighting, PAT Testing. The successful bidder will have a multi-skilled workforce who are work proficiently in a predominately mental health (including forensic sites) and community health environment and be aware of the associated risks. Throughout the contract duration ELFT requires a proactive approach to continually look for improvements and solutions to recurring issues. Works must be of a consistently high standard ensuring repeat visits are kept to an absolute minimum. A cost plan will be worked up with the successful Bidder for both remedial work and PPM routines and scheduling of work to minimise issues on the wards.
