At United Utilities (referred to as UU), it is our commitment to supply great water to homes and businesses, removing and treating wastewater behind the scenes. We are developing our infrastructure in response to climate, population and lifestyle changes so we can deliver a service customers can rely on now and in the future. United Utilities have a number of targets as part of PR19, one of which is to reduce Leakage by 20 %. Data Loggers form part of our strategy to deliver that target. United Utilities wishes to understand whether suppliers can provide elements of the provision in isolation or whether Supply, Installation, Maintenance & Data Provision has to come under one combined package of work The requirement is the Supply of remote data logger(s) to monitor the pressure and flow parameters of United Utilities water distribution network and to support United Utilities installation programme of such equipment throughout the North West Region. This will be through; provision of SIM cards with data credit for the duration of the contract; telephone technical support service for the Company and Maintenance contractors; fault reporting, fixing and prevention; data interrogation; repairs & replacements; calibration and battery condition monitoring and maintenance. The proposed framework is intended to be split into the 5 areas shown below. The suppliers will be able to show their interest and competencies on the specific areas within the PIN Response sheet. 1. Supply of Telemetry Data Loggers 2. Installation 3. Maintenance, Support, Repair, Replacement 4. Data Service Provision 5. Supply of Modulation controllers for PRV & Compatible Loggers. Including the Installation, Maintenance, Support, Repair, Replacement & Data Service Provision The suppliers will be able to show their interest and competencies on the specific areas within the PIN Response sheet.
