Tender description

The West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust is carrying out a Pre-Procurement Market Engagement (PPME) to explore and test the viability of retail options in three different areas of the Watford General Hospital site. The intended recipients of this notice include, but are not limited to, providers of convenience stores, sandwich/bakery outlets, cafes and pop up options around baby products (for the Women's and Children's department). The engagement will take place on the morning of Monday 20.5.2019 at Watford General Hospital. Please contact David Evershed directly to register your attendance. An Agenda for the day will then be sent to all who register. The Trust requests that interested parties limit attendance to 3 attendees per company. West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust (WHHT) will consider the feedback received to help inform their options and further decision making. For the avoidance of doubt, this stage of the project is not part of a formal procurement process and WHHT is not committing, at this stage, to carrying out such a process. Participation or non-participation in the PPME shall not prevent any supplier participating in a potential future procurement, nor is it intended that any information supplied as part of the PPME shall place any supplier at an advantage in a potential procurement process. Participation in the PPME will be at each organisation’s own cost. No expense in responding to this PPME will be reimbursed by WHHT.
