Tender description

The trust requires a provision for accommodation for patients that do not require a hospital bed supported with clinical staff, patients can stay within easy access to the trust typically no further to travel than 5 minutes away under their own steam (walking). The hotel should also be able to provide a number of accessible rooms in addition to a number of standard rooms (total 40) that are allocated for the trust use and are able to be accessed/booked and cancelled at short notice 365 days of the year. The trust requires a provision for accommodation for patients that do not require a hospital bed supported with clinical staff. They could be undergoing tests or series of specific treatments and could be from all over the UK as the trust is a centre of excellence in some areas of medicine. Patients could be having a test which makes them feel fatigued or unwell and therefore may not be well enough to travel home between the days course of treatments or tests. For this reason, it is required that patients can stay within easy access to the trust typically no further to travel than 5 minutes away under their own steam (walking). The hotel should also be able to provide number accessible rooms in addition to a number of standard rooms (total 40) that are allocated for the trust use and are able to be accessed/booked and cancelled at short notice 365 days of the year.
