Tender description

The South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner (SYPCC) is seeking a single provider to lead the delivery of a restorative justice Service in South Yorkshire. The service will ensure that a high quality restorative justice service is consistently available throughout South Yorkshire to all victims of crime. This service is being jointly commissioned by SYPCC and South Yorkshire Community — rehabilitation Company (CRC). SYPCC will be the lead organisation for this procurement. The South Yorkshire RJ Service will look to: — reduce the harm caused to individuals and communities as a result of crime, — avoid further harm being caused, — support victims long term recovery, — support offenders to understand the effect of their actions and reduce re-offending, — build confidence in the CJS.
