Dynamic collections curation and management

Tender description

Arts Council England (ACE) and the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) are working in partnership to seek a supplier, or suppliers, to undertake research related to dynamic collections curation and management within the museum sector. The overarching objective of this research is to better understand how the museum sector can be supported to address the Mendoza Review's recommendations in this area more effectively. Specifically, this research will explore what support already exists and its effectiveness and inform thinking around the types of interventions that may extend or strengthen approaches, whether through changing current programmes or developing new ones. It is anticipated that this will be undertaken through a review of existing research or evidence outlining previous activity and impact, including projects or programmes funded by ACE, HLF and other relevant sector bodies.
