Tender description

The University wishes to appoint a Contractor to supply a Multi-Colour Flow Cytometer. This tender is being run on behalf of the Faculty of Biology, Medicine and Health, University of Manchester. The reason for carrying out this procurement is to deliver a next generation flow cytometer to conduct high-dimensional analysis of complex immune samples using fluorescence. A high-specification 4 to 5 laser analyser for the analysis of a variety of primary cells across >20 fluorescence channels. Specification submitted to the tendering process will consist of instrument configurations that could support the anticipated applications to include; Usability, Fluidics and Sample Handling, Optics (Lasers and detection), Workstation and data export, Service contract.
