Conservation works at the Roman Baths - Archway Project

Bath & North East Somerset Council is delivering an exciting major heritage project at the Roman Baths in Bath. The Archway Project will transform access to the Roman monument by creating public access to in-situ Roman remains that are currently not open to public visitors. As part of the project, B&NES Council wishes to appoint a conservator to carry out a series of conservation works to the Scheduled Monument so that the Archway Project can be undertaken without adversely affecting the historic fabric. This includes a variety of conservation works to stabilise and protect the monument, to protect it throughout the delivery of the main building works, and to prepare the monument for public opening once the building works are complete.
