BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT SERVICES & ONGOING ENHANCEMENTS

Tender description

An Post is seeking to enter into a Single Party Framework Agreement for a period of 3 (three) years with an option to extend for a period up to a further 2 (two) years. An Post has developed and implemented a Business Intelligence Strategy & Solution. To support this system and its ongoing development An Post is seeking a supplier to provide support and development technical services. The An Post Business Intelligence environment includes Oracle Exadata & Windows platforms, Oracle Data Warehouse together with ODI, GoldenGate, OBIEE, Essbase and APEX. The system integrates large volumes of data via ETL processes from a wide range of systems and makes that data available to users across An Post via Dashboards & Reports. An Post have also deployed Oracle Analytics Cloud Services. SUPPORT SERVICES Services to ensure availability, performance, stability & integrity of An Post Business Intelligence (BI) environment to agreed service levels. Key processes to be supported include change management, disaster recovery, security, release management, requirements analysis, design, development & testing. This will include provision of on-site support resources to work together with the An Post team for supporting the Oracle Business Intelligence Environment with capacity to manage escalation of issues/incidents via additional expert off-site resources where needed The on-site technical resources may typically include experienced DBA, OBIEE, ODI, GoldenGate, APEX, Essbase, OACS, ETL development & BI Architect resources. DEVELOPMENT / ONGOING SERVICES Services to progress ongoing development of An Post BI Solution & related developments. Typically this will involve • provision of additional BI specialist resources on request • provide technical specialists to develop business applications leveraging data warehouse • providing proposals to An Post in response to documented business requirements.
