Arena Theatre Coffee Shop-Bar Outlet Service

Tender description

The University of Wolverhampton seeks to outsource the provision of a Coffee Shop-Bar Outlet Service within the Arena Theatre. Within the main Arena area, a small catering outlet is provided which currently offers a bar facility and coffee shop facility open between 10.00 and 22.00 Six days per week. Sunday opening is only scheduled in line with private bookings. The tender proposal will enable the service provision for students, staff and community users to provide the following services: • Minimum Opening times required: Monday to Saturday 10.00 - 22.00 • Opening Weeks: 48 weeks • Offering a minimum of a coffee bar, alcohol bar and hot and cold food The term of the contract award is initially 13 months as a pilot project, with an extension option up to 12 months. Subject to the success of the venture; a further tender may be published, for a contract period of 5 years. The Contractor must source and provide all equipment and consumables required for this contract. The Contractors equipment will remain the property and responsibility of the contractor for the duration of the contract. For the existing staff working in the Arena area, under TuPE (Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) their employment will be transferred to the new contractor should an outsourced route be identified as the most appropriate course of action.
