Tender description

Leicestershire County Council (the employer) is seeking to identify and appoint suppliers(s) to a traffic signs supply Framework Agreement (Framework). The contract is divided into 2 Lots: — Lot 1 is for the Supply and Delivery of Permanent Traffic Signs and Ancillary Items, — Lot 2 is for the Supply and Delivery of Temporary Traffic Signs and Ancillary Items. Tenderers may apply for both lots and be appointed to both lots. The purchaser seeks to procure the supply and delivery of the following goods to the employers premises through this contract — Lot 1: Permanent Traffic Signs and Ancillary Items. The detailed descriptions of the goods to be provided are stated in the price schedule and subsequent confirmed order. Additional goods not stated in the price schedule will be procured through the quotation procedure outlined in the framework contract for each sign package order. The information relating to the quality standards, tests and inspections and any health and safety requirements are stated in the specification. Goods will generally be delivered to the employers premises at Croft and Mountsorrel in Leicestershire. The estimated value through the framework is not guaranteed and is dependent on budgets made available to the employer.
