Tender description

Traffic Management — Scottish Water wishes to appoint sufficient traffic management contractors to support its capital and operational programmes of work. This includes design, liaison with local authorities/customers/other interested parties, provision of signs, lighting, barriers, traffic lights, pedestrian lights, walkways, cones, etc, installation, maintenance, adjustment and removal of traffic management. Area of coverage is Pan Scotland although this may be split into area specific and/or work category lots. The contractors must be suitably qualified, experienced and certified to carry out the full scope of work including NRSWA, RAUC/ HAUC, Lantra, etc. Scottish Water require the services of suitable traffic management companies to provide design, provision of equipment, installation, maintenance, adjustment, etc. of various planned traffic management installations. These will be planned works with generally a lead in time exceeding 7 days. Scottish Water require the services of suitable traffic management companies to provide design, Council Liaison/applications, equipment, installation, maintenance, adjustment, etc. of various reactive traffic management including 2 hours response times.
