Tender description

TfL seeks an improved street lighting Central Management System (CMS). The initial focus is on energy saving and fault identification. We would also require a CMS system that was open source, had easy to use reporting and control functions, was easy to install, had low maintenance requirements and was flexible. The current TfL CMS was installed in 2013 and we believe the function and operability of current CMS systems has vastly improved. If any future CMS could work in an interoperable with the old CMS system that would be a great benefit. TfL therefore is looking to hold some 121 discussions with interested parties to try and understand the technology available in the marketplace in order to build a long-term Lighting Strategy. The proposed dates of these discussions are week commencing 1.4.2019 and week commencing 8.4.2019, however TfL can be flexible to accommodate interested parties’ needs.
