Tender description

The concession contract(s) involves the delivery of services in relation to the Parks and Open Spaces, Playground, Events and Filming (Lot 1), Leisure and Sports (Lot 2), Bereavement Services (Lot 3) and Public Halls (Lot 4). The estimated value of all lots is 97 000 000 GBP. The proposed length of the contract is 5 years (60 months) with the option for a further period or periods of up to five (5) years if the successful bidder or bidders can demonstrate that a longer contract period is required to recoup investments. The concessionaire shall enable excellent parks, open spaces, events and film management services which: engage and inspire people; develop welcoming, high-quality places; and strengthen vibrant, sustainable and healthy communities. The estimated value of this concession contract is 30 000 000 GBP and the proposed duration is five (5) years [60 months with the option of a period or periods of a further five (5) years subject to suitable justification]. The concessionaire shall deliver and enable excellent leisure and sports services which: engage and inspire people; develop welcoming, high-quality places; and strengthen vibrant, sustainable and healthy communities. The estimated value of this concession contract is 35 000 000 GBP and the proposed duration is five (5) years [60 months with the option of a period or periods of a further five (5) years subject to suitable justification]. The concessionaire shall deliver excellent bereavement services. The estimated value of this concession contract is 25 000 000 GBP and the proposed duration is five (5) years [60 months with the option of a period or periods of a further five (5) years subject to suitable justification]. The concessionaire shall deliver excellent Public Hall Services. The estimated value of this concession contract is 7 000 000 GBP and the proposed duration is five (5) years [60 months with the option of a period or periods of a further five (5) years subject to suitable justification].
