Tender description

Lot 1: Marketing Print (1 supplier only) The BBC is looking to appoint a print partner to manage the pan-BBC Print requirements and will be responsible for all print production in relation to these requirements. The print partner will be expected to enter into sub-contracts with a range of print providers who will meet the BBC's requirements throughout the UK including Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Lot 1 will be directly managed by the Print Partner and the BBC will have no contractual relationship with the sub-contracted print providers. The print partner is free to provide some elements of the service itself. Lot 2: Fulfilment and Response Services (a maximum of 3 suppliers) for Fulfilment * Direct Mail services. Storing/mailing out of printed material to end users. For both Lots, the contract terms will be an initial term of 2 years with the further possible extension of up to 24 months in 12 month periods. Lot 1 will be directly managed by the print partner and the BBC will have no direct contractual relationship with the sub-contracted print providers. The print partner is free to provide some elements of the service itself. The BBC will have some involvement in the way the print partner selects its sub-contracted print providers and this will be documented in the contract between the BBC and the print partner. Lot 2: Fulfilment and response services (a maximum of 3 suppliers) for fulfilment and direct mail services. Storing/mailing out of printed material to end users.
