Tender description

The University is renewing its contract for the provision of occupational health services. There are currently 2 contracts in places — 1 for all staff and 1 for students within the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing and Faculty of Clinical and Biomedical Services. Both areas are being brought together as 2 separate lots within the same contract to allow suppliers to bid for 1 or both areas as appropriate. Each lot has distinct requirements as detailed in the tender specification. The contract will be for an initial period of 2 years with the option to extend for up to 2 further 12-month periods subject to annual reviews. Occupational Health Service to provide a service with a suitable number of staff (OH Physicians, OH Advisers and administrative support), appropriately qualified in the particular specialism of occupational health as required to enable delivery of all aspects required to meet the scope of the contract as detailed in the tender specification. The schools within the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing and Faculty of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences require an occupational health service for their students of pre-registration health professional courses in the areas of nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, operating department practice, paramedics, medicine and dentistry.
