Tender description

The Education and Training Foundation have awarded a contract to support technical teachers to embed maths, English and digital skills. This tender relates to the T level professional development offer focused on supporting teachers and leaders delivering T levels to be prepared to deliver from 2020 onwards. It will support technical teachers and trainers to embed maths, English and digital skills within their technical subject teaching. This contract has 2 phases of work: — Phase 1: developing 4 modules of training, — Phase 2: delivering the 4 training modules. The contract will run from January 2019 to March 2020. A contract has been awarded to support technical teachers and trainers to embed maths, English and digital skills within their technical subject teaching. The longer term intended impact is that young people undertaking T levels develop the maths, English and digital skills required, and understand how they are applied in the occupation they want to progress into, without which they will be at a disadvantage. The focus of this work is on embedding maths, English and digital skills in technical teaching. The work will be delivered in 2 phases: — Phase 1: developing 4 modules of training, — Phase 2: delivering the 4 training modules.
