CP 1607-18 Contract for composting of East Devon, North Devon & Torridge District Councils' garden waste

Tender description

The Contract is for the provision of waste reception points by the contractor to which the District Councils of East Devon, North Devon and Torridge can deliver their separately collected garden waste. The contractor shall then compost the delivered waste either at the same locations or haul the waste to their waste compostingfacility for composting. The service under this contract is not divided into lots as the Authority considers that this may result in a gap inthe provision of the Service. The Service for composting East Devon's garden waste is required to start from 14th May 2019, while therequirement for the Service start for North Devon & Torridge is 14th October 2019. The Service for all District Councils shall continue until 31st March 2027, with option to extend the contract for periods totalling a maximumof 4 further years beyond 31st March 2027. II.2.5)
