Tender description

This procurement process is for the supply and delivery of various sizes of clinical waste disposal containers. To include sharps, anatomical and pharmaceutical waste and a range of associated products to Health and Social Care in Northern Ireland. This procurement process is for the supply and delivery of sharps waste containers and associated products to Health and Social Care (HSC) in Northern Ireland. It is expected that the containers will be delivered to 2 regional warehouses for forward delivery to end users by the Procurement and Logistics Service (PaLS). In addition to the provision of a specified range of containers, the Contractor will be expected to deliver all service requirements associated with the contract including but not limited to; the provision of training and support on the safe use of containers to HSC staff and meet all delivery requirements of the contract including specified lead times. To this end, it is the intention of PaLS, who will be facilitating this procurement process on behalf of HSC, to host a Supplier Engagement meeting with interested suppliers to have an open discussion regarding product ranges and potential approaches to this service. It is likely that the meeting will take place in PaLS, 77 Boucher Crescent, Belfast, Northern Ireland, UK, BT12 6HU, on Wednesday 1.5.2019. The date and time of the meeting will be confirmed with any interested party.
