Community Dental Services for Lot 1 Derbyshire and Lot 2 - Nottinghamshire (excluding Bassetlaw)

Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU) on behalf of NHS England - Midlands and East (North Midlands) (referred to as the Commissioner) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers to deliver the Services for Community Dental Services for Lot 1 Derbyshire and Lot 2 Nottinghamshire (excluding Bassetlaw for all services except epidemiology). The procurement is being undertaken as current contracts are due to end on 31st March 2020. New contracts are expected to commence on 1st April 2020 for a period of 5 years with an option to extend to a further 1 year + 1 year (total contract duration 7 years). Bidders are to note, deadline for tender submissions is 10:00am on 24th April 2019. The Community Dental Service (CDS) is expected to provide patient centred clinical services in a primary care setting for patients who are unable to access and obtain routine dental care in a general dental practice setting because of some impairment, disability and/or complex medical condition.
