Supported Living - Accommodation and Support Required

We are looking for expression of interest from: • Supporting Living Providers who can access accommodation or • Landlords who will work with a support provider We want a provider who can source at least one long term property for 4 or more males with mental health diagnoses all between 52 and 71 years old. They have been in a long term institutional setting and we want to move towards independence and into accommodation that provides an environment in which their independence can continue to be supported and developed. The accommodation and support must be separate and not linked. We want to work with a provider who will enable these men to reach their full potential and to work towards outcomes rather than working to a prescribed time table. Timescales: The property and potential service will need to be available within 6-9 months. Ideally we are looking for the service be operational before January 2020. Location: The ideal location will Cholsey in South Oxfordshire, but we can consider other locations but needs to be in a quiet village or small town setting good public transport links. Next Steps: We want to speak to any providers who are interesting in developing this service with us and think they would be able to so in the available timescale. We want to have an open conversation with providers and test the market before pursuing any further.
