Tender description

Warwickshire CC wish to commission a single provider to deliver a School Health and Wellbeing Service within Warwickshire. The SHWBS will offer Warwickshire children, young people and families evidence-based health and wellbeing services with a focus on prevention and early intervention. It will provide additional support for those who need it to improve and maintain their health and wellbeing, life chances, protect them from abuse and neglect and reduce inequalities, so that Warwickshire children and young people are in the best possible health to achieve and benefit from their education. School health staff and their teams will use their autonomy, clinical skills and professional judgment to ensure all children and young people from pre-school entry receive the full service offer (HCP 5-19), with access to services and the early identification of complex needs, with timely referral and access to specialist services. Warwickshire CC wish to commission a single provider to deliver a School Health and Wellbeing Service within Warwickshire through an open tender process. Applicants should be aware that volumes and block contract amounts may increase if additional funding becomes available or may decrease if funding reduces, during the term of the contract. The services may also be subject to modification in order to meet future changes in demands/needs or new initiatives. The Initial contract term is 3 years with further options to extend for periods up to to 3 years (up to 31.10.2025) and further option to extend for up to 3 years (up to 31.10.2028). Being the maximum available extension periods at the discretion of the Council based on the contract performance of the successful applicant.
