Tender description

Providing healthy and good quality catering services at a group of 6 Harrogate North Yorkshire Primary Schools, who are looking to appoint a contractor to provide school meals from September 2019. The contract is for an initial period of 3 years, with 2 optional 1 year extensions. The bidding contractors must be able to show a proven track record of operating similar contracts within budgets and guidelines. There are currently the following pupils on roll: — Pannal Primary, KS1 — 185, KS2 - 257, — Oatlands Infants, KS1 — 237, — Grove Road Primary, KS1 — 120, KS2 - 175, — Starbeck Primary, KS1 — 79, KS2 - 110, — New Park Primary, nursery — 21, KS1 - 64, KS2 - 92, — Hookstone Chase Primary, KS1 — 145, KS2 - 166. You must be able to show an innovative approach to providing a school meal service, in line with healthy eating and sourcing fresh local produce. Note: deadline for return of tender is midday Wednesday 1.5.2019. Please note this tender falls under the light touch regime of the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
