Tender description

Transform Trust is a Multi Academy Trust comprising 16 primary schools across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Two schools who are part of Transform Trust are currently out to tender for the provision of a catering service. The schools who are part of the collaboration are: Parkdale Primary School William Booth Primary and Nursery School The schools require a lunch time catering service as well as tuck shop provision (William Booth only). Parkdale Primary School is a large primary school in Carlton, Nottingham. There are 2 classes of 30 in each year group from Reception to Year 6 giving a total of 420 on roll. The School are keen to appoint a catering contractor who will support their vision of healthy meals which offer the parents good value for money. There are 190 trading days with a lunchtime service requirement for pupils (paid, UIFSM and FSM) and staff (duty and paid for) meals. Packed lunches for schools trips are also a requirement as well as the possibility of a limited amount of hospitality catering. The school are looking for a guaranteed return as well as investment in the catering facilities. William Booth Primary & Nursery School is a one form entry primary school in Sneinton, Nottingham. There are pupils from Reception to Year 6. There are a total of 206 pupils with a further 30 in the nursery. The School are keen to appoint a catering contractor who will support their vision of healthy meals which offer the parents good value for money. There are 190 trading days with a morning break and lunchtime service requirement for pupils (paid, UIFSM and FSM) and staff (duty and paid for) meals. Packed lunches for schools trips are also a requirement as well as the possibility of a limited amount of hospitality catering. The children in the Nursery are part time and do not tend to require lunch. The school are looking for a guaranteed return as well as investment in the catering facilities.
