Tender description

RTÉ invites submissions, from suitably qualified tenderers to supply satellite space on the Ka and Ku bands. RTÉ requires satellite space segments for its news services, other television programming and radio requirements. Ku Band: an ad-hoc requirement for satellite space segments for television services, along with an ad-hoc requirement for satellite space for radio services, with an option to buy the radio requirement on a permanent basis. Ka Band: IP services to support content delivery from IP based Ka-band mobile units with complete coverage while operational on the island of Ireland, UK, and mainland Europe. Lots 1 and 2 combined.
