Tender description

This Prior Information Notice (PIN) is for information only and is not an invitation to tender. The Council is preparing to publish 2 separate contract opportunities: 1) 1819-0029a operation, delivery and facilities management of 11 adventure playgrounds; 2) 1819-0029b operation, delivery and facilities management of Hayward Adventure Playground. The current timeline is as follows: — publication of 1819-0029a: 26.3.2019, — publication of 1819-0029b: 27.3.2019, — return deadline: 10.5.2019, — verification visits (if required): w/c 20.5.2019, — verification/clarification interviews (if required): w/c 27.5.2019, — contract award: 12.7.2019. The contract opportunities will be published separately. Instructions for expressing an interest in each contract will be given in the Contract Notices. The purpose of this PIN is to maximise transparency and competition for the upcoming Contract Notices. All details in this PIN are subject to change in the final Contract Notice. There are 2 separate requirements. 1 contract will cover the operation, delivery and facilities management of 11 adventure playgrounds within the borough. Another contract will cover the operation, delivery and facilities management of Hayward Adventure Playground, Islington’s specialist adventure playground for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities.
