Tender description

Cardiff Council is committed to supporting people with a learning disability to live independently in the community within their own homes. The Council would like to invite expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations to provide supported living services for people with a learning disability. The current contractual arrangement supports 310 (March 2019) people within Cardiff across 98 supported living schemes and will expire on 31.10.2019. The supported living services consists of 98 schemes providing shared and self-contained accommodation with support for 310 people across 6 localities by 3 providers. The buildings will be owned by Housing Associations (RSL). The services provided are to promote independence, through providing long-term placements via assured Tenancy Agreements and domiciliary support in supported housing schemes, giving people, with a learning disability, the opportunity to live their lives as a fully integrated member of the communities they live in society as a whole.
