Food and Fuel Support

Tender description

Contract for Food and Fuel Support Service. The Service shall be provided within a fixed budget to be set by LCC at the beginning of each financial year. The Provider will work with LCC to ensure effective and equitable provision within the set budget. The budget for 2019/20 is £26,000 but could be less in future years subject to the availability of funds. The Council shall not be liable for any costs incurred or services provided which exceed the set budget. The budget will be used as required to fund; a) Service administration including; • Administration of food and fuel support provision. • Assessment of self-referring clients and signposting clients to appropriate services. • Provision of premises within Loughborough that are accessible to self-referring clients. • Promotion of the Service to residents of the Borough of Charnwood. • Reporting on contract performance. b) The cost of food and fuel provision which will be refunded to the contract provider at face value.
