Tender description

Portchester Community School is a secondary school, maintained by Hampshire County Council local education authority. We are tendering for the cleaning services of the whole school premises. Lot 1: 3 year cleaning contract to start 1.8. 2019, following the end of our previous contract 31.7.2019. Tender for the provision of cleaning services in respect of Portchester Community School under the following contents; letter of invitation, notes of guidance, staffing details (TUPE), Portchester Community School Health and Safety Policy, specification and frequency charts, site data, site plans and order of conditions of contract (further information available of the school's website). Portchester Community School is a busy school situated in Fareham. The site consists of a number of blocks, ranging in age, over a fairly compact site and currently has approximately 630 students studying a full range of subjects; this number is increasing each year with a potential maximum number of 840 students. The school requires a cleaning service that reflects the positive attitude of the teaching environment and is flexible when dealing with the changing demands in secondary education in a busy community school. Additional cleaning time shall be required for cleaning prior to community use and close liaison with the school representative is essential, especially during school closure periods where periodic cleaning programmes have to be produced. Community use is extensive.
