CETE008 Invitation to Manage Car Park Charges at Willington

Willington Picnic Site is owned and managed by Derbyshire County Council's Countryside Service. The site is one of the authority's countryside sites designed to promote and to allow easy access to the countryside. The relative isolation of Willington from the remainder of the Council's sites makes management of the scheme an issue so the authority is keen to explore other management options for the proposal. The Council has therefore taken the decision that the local community or a commercial operator would be better placed to manage the car park at Willington on a day-to-day basis. The Council requires a supplier to provide a first line management service for the car park and liaise with appropriate council staff over management issues.
