Background: UK Power Networks provides power to approximately a quarter of the UK’s population via its 3 regulated electricity distribution networks, which are owned by London Power Networks plc, Eastern Power Networks plc and South Eastern Power Networks plc. Request: — this request for information is initiated to source the market to identify the availability of a 4 x 4 vehicle integrated with mobile elevated work platform not exceeding 3 500 kgs, — manufacture built with integrated mobile elevated work platform, — off road capability ideally 4 x 4, — gross vehicle weight does not exceed 3 500 kgs, — platform working height circa 13 m and outreach circa 6,2 m, — safe working load in basket circa 230 kg, — can be insulated or uninsulated, — capable of carrying a pay load of associated tools an equipment.
