Tender description

Transport for London (TfL) has a requirement to provide a framework arrangement for fixture fitting and equipment to its head office and operational estates. The purpose of this proposed framework arrangement is to streamline its provision into a more manageable process and include the creation of a single online catalogue offering a standardised list of goods that can be purchased by TfL staff. The framework will be a multi supplier contract for 4 years. This will ensure best value is achieved by allowing an element of benchmarking amongst the framework suppliers and resilience of service provision. The tender will award to the most economically advantageous suppliers that are able to demonstrate excellent methodology in: — logistics, scheduling and storage, — product range and selection, — repairs and maintenance, — innovation, — fair trade and ethical sourcing, — environmental and recycling, — complaints handling and reporting, — service calls, — competitive pricing, — product tracking, — experience of installation of equipment within an operational railway environment. The list of items includes, but not limited to, the following items, plus related installation, disposal and remedial construction works. — kitchenware, — kitchen appliances, — televisions/DVDs, — office furnishings, — cabinets, — laminators/shredders, — whiteboards (fire retardant), — safes.
