Tender description

In order to meet our requirements Forestry Commission in Scotland require to put in place a framework agreements for the supply of Forestry Planting Stock as set out in this tender and supporting Appendices for the following Lots: — Lot 1 — Bare-Root Conifer, — Lot 2 — Bare-Root Broadleaves, — Lot 3 — Cell-Grown Conifers. The total estimated value of this Framework Agreement over the entire period, including the extensions, will be in the region of 6 200 000 GBP exc VAT. The framework agreement will be for the duration of 3 years, anticipated to commence June 2019 with an option to extend the framework for a further 12 months. The Forestry Commission is currently made up of several parts and in Scotland the Forestry and Land Management (Scotland) Act 2018 completes the devolution of forestry from Westminster to Holyrood. Under this Act, Scottish Ministers will set up a new executive agency: Forestry and Land Scotland (FLS) responsible for the management of the National Forest Estate.
