The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to inform the market of Dublin Airport’s intention to seek partners to drive and grow the Car Rental business at Dublin Airport. The opportunity: Dublin Airport has experienced strong traffic growth over the last number of years with record passenger numbers of more than 31 000 000 passengers passing through the airport in 2018. Dublin Airport will go to market in Q2, 2019 to identify the most suitably qualified car rental operators to work in partnership with the airport to drive and grow the Car Rental business across both terminals. Dublin Airport will tender this opportunity. Dublin Airport will be inviting car rental operators to meet with Dublin Airport as part of a market research initiative prior to the launch of the tender and to understand the opportunity.
