Tender description

Manchester City Council are looking for a professional Security Services Provider (or providers) to support the Authority in delivering The "Our Manchester" Strategy, specifically in ensuring that those who live and work within the City and those who visit here, are kept and feel safe at all times. A detailed breakdown of the individual lots is detailed in the Request to Participate document and further information can be found in the Specification within the Invitation to Tender document. The contract is to include the following activities: • Provision of staff for mobile patrols • Keyholding and alarm response duties • Investigation and verification of alarms including fire • Open / close / lock/ unlock activities at a range of locations • Critical location guarding and access control • Asset Protection guarding and access control • Temporary Asset protection • Control Room staffing and CCTV monitoring • Car Park monitoring and control • First Aid support • Emergency and Evacuation duties • Incident reporting and design / maintenance of Assignment Instructions • Conducting Security Risk Assessments of all locations • Provision of a uniformed security service in compliance with legal and statutory constraints • Supply of ad hoc and emergency uniformed security personnel • Regular deployment of General-Purpose Dogs with trained handlers • Supervision and Management of SIA licensed personnel
