Lot 1: Meeting the Needs of Staffordshire’s Looked After Children and Care Leavers “A Specialist Therapeutic Support Service”; Lot 2: “Getting Help” Children and Young People’s Emotional Wellbeing Service Promoting Resilience and Enabling improved Emotional Wellbeing; Lot 3 — Parental Mental Health Support. As part of the Building Resilient Families and Communities (BRFC) model we are exploring the impact of a whole family approach to improved emotional wellbeing and mental health. Lot 1: Meeting the Needs of Staffordshire’s Looked After Children and Care Leavers “A Specialist Therapeutic Support Service”. This service will deliver specialist therapeutic support for Staffordshire’s Looked After Children and Young People (LACYP) aged from 5 years up to the age of 18 years in meeting their physical and/or mental health needs and supporting their emotional wellbeing. It shall also provide therapeutic support for Care Leavers aged up to 25 years old for whom the local authority has a continued statutory responsibility and who have been assessed as having a need for this service. The service will deliver targeted support and advice and support of a therapeutic nature to LACYP, and their family/carers based on their assessed physical and emotional health needs being at a level to warrant such a specialist therapeutic intervention. This service is to be provided through a joint commissioning arrangement between Staffordshire County Council and Staffordshire's Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s). Formal arrangements will be in place to secure funding and contractual responsibilities for the contract period. Lot 2: “Getting Help” Children and Young People’s Emotional Wellbeing Service Promoting Resilience and Enabling improved Emotional Wellbeing. Staffordshire County Council in partnership with Staffordshire's CCG’s are seeking to establish a new service delivery model to provide emotional wellbeing support to children and young people presenting with mild/moderate emotional wellbeing difficulties that require low level support or intervention to enable them to get the advice or help they need to improve emotional wellbeing and to offer sustainable and empowering long term skills and support to build resilience. Formal arrangements will be in place to secure funding and contractual responsibilities for the contract period. Lot 3: Parental Mental Health Support. As part of the Building Resilient Families and Communities (BRFC) model we are exploring the impact of a whole family approach to improved emotional wellbeing and mental health. We want to explore over twelve (12) months the impact of addressing parental mental health including the option of whole family intervention, i.e. systemic family therapy approach. Please note the contract period for Lot 3 only is 1.4.2019 to 31.3.2020.
