Tender description

Providing healthy and good quality catering services at a group of 10 Ripon North Yorkshire Primary Schools, who are looking to appoint a contractor to provide school meals from September 2019. The contract is for an initial period of 3 years, with two optional 1 year extensions. The bidding contractors must be able to show a proven track record of operating similar contracts within budgets and guidelines. There are currently the following pupils on roll: Holy Trinity Infants KS1 — 114, Holy Trinity Juniors KS2 — 261 Boroughbridge Primary nursery — 21, KS1 — 59, KS2 — 87 Thornton Watlass Primary, KS1 — 12, KS2 — 30 Snape Community Primary, KS1 — 17 Kell Bank Primary, KS1 — 9, KS2 — 10 Fountains Grantley Primary, KS1 — 35, KS2 — 42 Grewelthorpe Primary, KS1 — 27, KS2 — 36 Hawes Primary, KS1 — 37, KS2 — 56 Lothersdale Primary, KS1— 46, KS2 — 64 Leyburn Primary, KS1 — 80, KS2 — 124 You must be able to show an innovative approach to providing a school meal service, in line with healthy eating and sourcing fresh local produce.
