Provision of a Pension Specialist Consultancy Service to the Health Research Board

The Health Research Board (HRB) is the lead agency in Ireland supporting and funding health research. We provide funding, maintain health information systems and conduct research linked to national health priorities. Our aim is to improve people's health, build health research capacity and make a significant contribution to Ireland's knowledge economy. Our latest Corporate Strategy clearly outlines how we hope to achieve this working in partnership with other organizations. The HRB requires specialist Pension Advisory Service with particular emphasis on Public Sector pension related experience. The service sought will provide efficient and effective pensions advice, administration and support services in respect of Local Government Superannuation Scheme, the related Widow’s and Spouse Scheme and the Single Public Service Pension Scheme and will be required to include technical advice & consultancy, administrative pension support, pension trustee reporting (where applicable), provision of Annual Pension statements and other ancillary administration services, Key Objectives 1. Provide support and specialist advise / direction to HRB to ensure corporate and regulatory compliance 2. Provide an efficient pension service to HRB pension members (current and past) 3. Provide an annual pension reporting for non-Single Public Service Pension Scheme members 4. Provide advisory support to the HRB on Pension queries 5. Management of Single Public Service Pension Scheme including reporting requirements 6. The set-up and maintaining of a pensions data management system for the HRB. This may include assigning external resources to review all HRB employee files onsite and populating identified database. Term of Procurement Contract The required pension consultancy service will be required from March 2018 for a period of three years.
