With demand for social care services on the rise, the Council is committed to ensuring that care and safeguarding of our vulnerable residents remains a priority, whilst being innovative by looking at new ways to enable services to be more cost efficient. Assistive Technology provides a way of supporting service users with care needs and those that care for them to have greater choice and control over their lives, gain independence, live longer and feel safer in their own homes.
