Queen’s University Belfast (Queen’s) wish to procure an Environmental Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) for the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. In additional to proposals for new equipment, consideration will also be given to proposals for new equipment which offer refurbished/reconditioned or ex-demonstration (i.e. pre-owned/pre-used) equipment. However, such proposals must meet the mandatory requirements as outlined in Specification and must be under 24 months old and with warranty being provided as if new. The AFM will be delivered, installed (including being off loaded and sited) and commissioned at the following address: Queen’s University Belfast School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Ashby Building Ground Floor, Characterisation Lab Stranmillis Road Belfast BT9 5AH It is a mandatory requirement that the economic operator will be responsible for the removal expense of all packaging the equipment is delivered in.
