Learning Disabilities Floating and Community Support Lot 1 Camden North

Tender description

The Council has awarded a contract for the provision of learning disabilities floating and community support in Camden North (Lot 1). The initial term will be for three years with the option to extend for a further two periods of one-year each. The Service come under Chapter 3, Section 7 (Social and Other Specific Services) of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. Under Regulation 76, the Council may determine the procedure to be applied in connection with the award of the contracts. The process was a two-stage process similar to the restricted procedure. Stage 1 was comprised of selection criteria consisting of questions assessed both on a pass/fail and scored basis. Organisations were required to meet the minimum standards specified within the selection criteria. The organisations ranked five or higher (based on the assessed scores at selection stage) were then invited to Stage 2 of the process. Shortlisted organisations were then required to submit their responses to the award criteria. Full details were in the tender documentation. the procurement process described above was for both Lot 1 and Lot 2 Please note that the Instructions to Tender (ITT) stated that a tendering organisation could only win one lot. The Council was unable to award the contract for Lot 2 (Camden South) as no compliant tenderers were submitted, therefore Lot 2 (Camden South) will be re-tendered. I
