Tender description

This is a call for competition to supply, deliver and commission a Hydraulic Hobbing press suitable for hobbing coin dies. Further key and critical technical requirements of the press can be found at 11.2.4). Minimum technical requirements: Up-stroking press with a capacity of up to 60 mm diameter: — rigid 1-piece modular iron press frame for an extremely low deformation, — compact unit mounted onto a common base plate with press, hydraulic aggregate and switch cabinet, — bed table ejector (500 KN), — adjustable pressure dependent ram stroke cut-off, — function Multiple Hobbing with up to five different programmable hobbing forces with a tolerance of +/- 50 KN in closed tool, — adjustable hobbing speed during operation to eliminate springback, — adjustable Dwell Time between 0,1 — 2 sec, — Siemens S7 PLC and operator panel, — High Precision Hobbing Tool with 3-part clamping jaws and hydraulic die cushion, — process in following Hobbing Tolerances: Length +/- 0,02 mm Concentricity +/- 0,02 mm, — flexibility of press to strike coins, medals and hobb dies, — the press must eliminate the possibility of “Ghosting” from multiple strikes, — all dies must be 100 % reproducible, — cylindrical shape of the die must be maintained post hobbing (no deformation of the die due to the hobbing process), — the press will have a minimum force of 6000 Kn, — must have hydraulic cushion in upper tool.
