Housing First in Hackney

Tender description

Hackney Borough Council intends to go out to market to procure a provider who can deliver housing services, according to the principles of 'Housing First'. Hackney Borough Council are leading this procurement on behalf of the City of London Corporation and City and Hackney Clinical Commissioning Group. The services are required under the Planned Care and Housing work stream - titled 'ASK'. The joint procurement aims to improve the way in which health and care services work together locally by adopting integrated commissioning. The local vision for Housing First is "To ensure an effective Housing First Model is available for residents of City and Hackney, which is evidence based and maintains the fidelity of the Housing First model, in line with the Housing First England principles". The Council undertook market testing in 2018 and are now refreshing this in preparation to go out formally to market in March 2019. The Council and partners intend to procure the services of a provider under a 3 year contract.
