Tender description

The Council is seeking a provider to support all those affected by domestic abuse within the community of Cheshire East Council is seeking a provider who will supply a medium/low risk service with the aim of reducing the human and service cost through partnership and whole family work to prevent abuse from occurring, protect and support those affected and address the causes of further harm. The Contracting Authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are Small or Medium Enterprises (SME’s). For the avoidance of doubt, the Contracting Authority points out that no weight will be attached to whether or not an economic operator is an SME in selecting economic operators to submit tenders or in assessing the most economically advantageous tender. The Council wish to commission a whole family domestic abuse service, the Council is seeking an initial contract term of 3 years from 1.4.2019 until 31.3.2022 with options to extend for up to 2 x 12 months at the Council's discretion. Commissioners require a provider to manage, co-ordinate and provide of a whole family domestic abuse service for children, young people, adults and their families. Note that the values given in this notice are estimations only and are based on a full potential contract period of 5 years in total. Social value: the Council is committed to ensure wider social and community benefits are achieved in the course of all its commissioning and procurement activities. In accordance with this, suppliers are required to work with the Council towards achieving such aims. Tenderers must successfully pass all sections within the supplier questionnaire within the tender documents before being evaluated further. Under light touch the procedure adopted may include a negotiation step, if deemed necessary.
