Housing related support for single adults with medium to high level complex needs living in Birkenhead Street/Endell Street/Endsleigh Gardens properties in Camden. This notice has been issued to notify the market that approval was granted by Cabinet in London Borough of Camden in September 2018 to undertake a procurement process with St Mungo’s which will result in a direct award following a negotiation process. St Mungo's will deliver housing related support within their properties for single adults living in Birkenhead Street, Endell Street and Endsleigh Gardens. These services form part of the Adult Pathway in Camden. The Adult Pathway is designed to help vulnerable single people who would otherwise be homeless, thereby reducing the need for statutory Temporary Accommodation and for more reactive, intensive public services such as A&E, Police or adult social care services. Pathway services provide accommodation for some of the most vulnerable people in the community together with support that is tailored to meet individual, increasingly complex needs, often associated with substance misuse and mental health problems. Residents are helped to progress towards independence by engaging with the services relevant to their needs and taking up opportunities for employment, training and education. It is the Council's intention to award the contract by August 2019 with a commencement date on or around 1.10.2019.
