Tender description
ESB is seeking expressions of interest to obtain a place on a qualification system that will be established for Original Equipment Manufacturer(s) (“Supplier” or “Suppliers”) of Gas Turbines, Generators and Auxillaries (together the “Gas Turbine Package”). The gas turbine packages will be required to be delivered to project locations in Ireland and the UK, and the qualification system may include projects developed by ESB, ESB joint venture companies (existing or yet to be formed), ESB subsidiary companies or companies ESB Group has a minority interest in. ESB plans to develop gas turbine peaking power plants commencing in 2019, through a pipeline of planned projects. The size of individual projects is expected to range between 50 MW and 120 MW, although some projects could be outside of this range.
