Tender description

Yorkshire Water Services Ltd (YWS) are seeking a framework/s supplier/s to manage YWS Woodland and/or Countryside Management Estate to deliver their AMP7 Programme. The appointed service partner/s are required to scope, design, meet compliance requirements, appoint sub-contractors and manage schemes of works across a range of sites within the Yorkshire region for the next 5 years. This Contract Notice is for 2 Lots: 1) Woodland and Tree Management; 2) Countryside Recreation Management and we are seeking an expert competent organisation/s to manage parcels of work from concept to completion. This framework is intended for a duration of 5 years with no further options to extend. YWS are seeking an expert and competent organisation who's required, but not limited to, providing the following services: — scope, design, tender, appoint sub-contractors and manage schemes of works to deliver the AMP7 Programme — manage the start to finish of timber sales in to the markets to achieve best value for a range of product types, — tree specification, purchase, planting, protection and establishment. Inspect, specify and manage works and tasks to maintain a safe tree population through annual tree inspections and associated arboriculture works, — hard and soft landscaping, management of habitats and vegetation types, improve bio-diversity, boundary management, vegetation management, — design works, product selection, specification, tender and manage works, — appointment and management of subcontractors trained and compliant with the work required of them, — understake management to the UK Woodland Assurance Standard, supporting the maintenance of the UKWAS accreditation, site visits and holding of all relevant documentation, — maintain by renewal or new applications the necessary legal permission to undertake the woodland management. YWS are seeking an expert and competent organisation that is required to provide the following services, but not limited to; — scope, design, tender, appoint sub-contractors and manage schemes of works to deliver the AMP 7 programme, — hard and soft landscaping, — development of routes suitable for all user needs, repair and maintain existing routes and create new routes for a range of user groups (vehicles, horse, cycle, pedestrians and disabled) in a wide range of locations using a variety of materials and styles, — recreational furniture installation, car park and amenities maintenance, Boundary management and maintenance, vegetation management, — management of habitats and vegetation types improve bio-diversity and general landscape works, — create new habitatn — waste product and material collection, removal and disposal.
