WHC - Redevelopment of former Lido Site

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council plans to re-develop an area at Stanborough Park North, Welwyn Garden City , which is to consist of children's adventure play, splash play and fitness area, is to be concentrated over a former lido site, which was demolished in 2001. The council is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified contractor to manage and construct the project. It is a requirement of this contract that the new facility is open by the commencement of the 2020 summer school term break (July). Contractors will need to demonstrate that they are able to meet this deadline. Outline planning consent has been granted for leisure development on the site, however the Council is seeking to deliver a new scheme to meet the requirements of local residents. The successful contractor will be required to work with the council's professional team and to carry out the complete construction of the project works in accordance with the scope set out in the tender documents
